FAIR AND FRONTIER DAYS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

APPLICATION QUESTIONNAIRE

Subsequent to a public application process, then review by the Frontier Days Board of Directors, recommendations for appointment are made to the Walla Walla County Board of Commissioners for final decision. A term on the board is for three (3) years and each director may serve up to three (3) terms.

1) Why do you want to serve on the Board of Directors for the Fairgrounds/Fair and Frontier Days?

2) What experience have you had with the Walla Walla Frontier Days event? Please explain.

3) What experience have you had with other Fairgrounds activities or committees? Please list.

4) Do you have previous fair, demo, concert productions or rodeo experience? If so, please explain.

5) This position can and does entail considerable public involvement, and a tremendous amount of volunteer time and labor, on the appointee’s part.

a)  Do you any experience in dealing with difficult people and situations? Please explain.

c)  The Board president appoints members to various committees/areas of responsibility – this is not the members’ choice. These responsibilities can and do change annually.
