VPI.Net Names Morgan Chess Senior Sales Director
IRVINE, CA – VPI.Net has named Morgan Chess Senior Sales Director at the full-service entertainment and marketing agency. She started her new assignment with the company Sept. 1.
“Having Morgan join the VPI.Net team adds a seasoned veteran to the team with great insight into trends and needs for agency and client side,” said VPI.Net CEO and President Zack Zeiler. “This is another way we are investing in our future to be the best for our clients. Chess joined the digital media industry in 2004 at Initiative, a media services company working with such clients as Bank of America, Best Western, and Carl’s Jr.
Seeking opportunities in the entertainment area, she moved to UM, a company representing both multi-national and local clients. Her agency work included Sony Pictures Entertainment, specializing in digital communications, and as UM Media Supervisor, overseeing many buzz-worthy campaigns for such projects as Angels & Demons, the Ugly Truth, Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs, and Michael Jackson’s This Is It, which was to mark his return to performing in concert.
She also briefly ran the Strategy Development in Entertainment unit at Platform-A, the entity formed by America Online to offer advertisers and media an efficient marketplace for the selling of digital advertising.
Chess is a graduate of University of San Diego, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with two emphases in marketing and management.
The agency was founded by Zack Zeiler, CEO & President of VPI.Net, in 1995. Mr. Zeiler is a recognized expert in games, kids, entertainment, technology and Websites.
