“Deaf, Deaf World”, the traditional deaf Awareness total immersion communication activity solely in American Sign Language (ASL) , is primarily designed for novice ASL students, and even for those without ASL experience table-turning communication barrier first hand, and struggle it would take to break through the Deaf people usually experience daily. There will be all Deaf people manning booths, such as Travel Agency, Hospital, Restaurant, and like for you to interact with and earn points. Expect a mock emergency to be responded to appropriately to earn bonus!! Short wrap-up debriefing will be held afterward, finally with an interpreter, to discuss the overall experience. Much fun will be had by all.

Come and celebrate Deaf Awareness Week at Blake’s.
