Follow the instructions below to the West Main Street Parking Deck. Turn on Cherry Street as if you were going to enter the parking deck. Instead, you will see RESTRICTED PARKING signs on the left side of the street on that block only of Cherry Street between Cary and Main Streetjust across the street from the parking deck. This block has been reserved for buses attending the Governor’s Challenge. As you park your bus on that block, PLACE THE ATTACHED TEMPORARY PARKING PERMIT IN YOUR FRONT WINDSHIELD OR YOU WILL RECEIVE A TICKET.

West Main Street Deck Parking:

Cars / Vehicles with 10ft clearance for a parking deck:Please park in the West Main Street Parking deck located at the intersections of Cherry / Main /Laurel Streets. The parking facility is directly across the street from the Altria Theater and VCU Student Commons. You may enter fromLaurel or Cherry Street. Take a ticket as you enter, and when you exit, following the event, give the ticket along with the validation passes we will give you at the event to the attendant.

Directions:

From the North: I-95 to Belvidere St. Exit (Exit 76-B). At the stop sign, take a left on to West Leigh Street. At the first stoplight, take a right on to Belvidere St. Follow Belvidere to Main St. Take a right on to Main, take a left on Laurel St. Parking deck entrance will be on your right.

From the South: I-95 to Chamberlayne Ave Exit (exit 76-A). At the stoplight, take a left on to Chamberlayne Ave. Cross over I-95 and bear right on to St. Peter’s St. At the stop sign, turn right on to West Leigh St. At the stoplight turn left on to Belvidere.Follow Belvidere to Main St. Take a right on to Main, take a left on Laurel St. Parking deck entrance will be on your right.

From the East: I-64 to I-95 North to Chamberlayne Ave. Exit (Exit 76-A). At the stop light, take a left on to Chamberlayne Ave. Cross over I-95 and bear right on to St.Peter’s St. At the stop sign, turn right on to West Leigh Street. At the stoplight turn left on to Belvidere. Follow Belvidere to Main St. Take a right on to Main, take a left on Laurel St. Parking deck entrance will be on your right.

From the West: I-64 to I-95 South to Belvidere St. Exit (Exit 76-B). At the stop sign take a left on to West Leigh St. At the first stoplight, take a right on to Belvidere St. Follow Belvidere to Main St. Take a right on to Main, take a left on Laurel St. Parking deck entrance will be on your right.

VCU Student Commons:

Student Competition: 2nd Floor: As you exit the parking deck, cross to the north side of Main Street. Go to the grass courtyard. Walk up the ramp to enter the building. First hall to your right has an elevator and steps. If you use the large staircase in the main commons area, take a left at the top of the stairs, go the end of the walkway and take a left. The Registration Table will be down the hall on your left. If you are going to the VirginiaRoom, it is located at the top of the large staircase in the main commons area.
