BookingFormagreeingtotheVillaRetreatstermsandconditionsmustbecompletedandsignedby thefirstnamedpersononbehalfofallthosenamed.Thisshouldbereturnedwiththefulldepositof30%payable.Yourbookingwillbeconfirmedonreceiptofyourdeposit. *Please note a higher deposit may be required depending on specific property.Please request information at time of booking.
YourLossorDamageDepositisacompulsorycomponentofyourholidaytoprotecttheowners and/ormanagementcompaniesofvillas/apartments againstlossand/ordamagepertainingtofixtures, fittingsandpossessions.The key depositis due two weeks prior to your arrival at the villa and is payable by cheque or by credit card or by bank transfer for £1000 or as specified depending on the individual property. Villa/apartment inventoriesshouldbecheckedonarrivalandanynecessarydeductionsfromdepositsagreedwith thelocalmanager.Theowner/managementcompanywillreleasekeydepositswithina weekofyou returninghome,subjectto therebeingno outstandingclaim.
YourBalanceofpaymentsisdue12weekspriortocommencementofrental.Unlesspreviously agreed,non-payment bythistimemayresultincancellation andlossofdeposit. Directionstoyour rentalpropertywillnormallybedespatched2weeksbeforedeparture.Accommodation isreserved exclusivelyforthosepersonsnamedontheconfirmation/invoice.Nootherpersonsarepermittedto stay inthe villa/apartment withoutthewritten permission of VillaRetreats and the receipt of appropriatepayments.Overoccupancycanresultinpenaltychargesandmaybeincontraventionof locallegislation.
RentalDuration pricesinthisprogrammearebasedona7nightstayunlessotherwisestated.Other durations will beconsideredsubjecttoavailabilityandseason.Startdaysforrentals vary fromlocation to location-pleasecheckattimeofreservation/enquiry.
ArrivalatyourAccommodation -thevilla/apartmentwillnormallybeavailableafter16:00onthe dayofarrivaland,toensuretheaccommodation canbepreparedfornewguests,mustbevacatedno later than 10:00onthedayof departure. Allpossible will bedonetoassistwitharrival/departure arrangements outsidethesetimesbut,sincetheconvenienceofallourcustomersisourconcern,we reservetherightto imposesupplementarychargesif thepropertyis notvacatedbythetime stated.
Amendmentsto bookings, e.g., name or datechanges, additional persons, etc. afterwritten confirmation hasbeenissued,aresubjecttoanamendmentfeeof£30,plusanydifferenceinseasonal costif thearrivaldatehasbeenchanged.

Passports/Visas-VillaRetreatsoritsassociatedcompanies cannotacceptresponsibilityforfailureto carryvalidpassports,visas,licencesorothernecessarydocumentation.
ForceMajeure-exceptwhereexpresslystatedinthesebookingconditionsVillaRetreatscannot acceptanyliability orpay anycompensation wheretheperformance orpromptperformance ofour contractual obligationsis prevented or affectedby reasonofcircumstancesamountingtoforce majeure.Inthesebookingconditions forcemajeuremeansany eventwhichwe,orthesupplierofthe service(s)inquestion couldnot,evenwithallduecareandattention,avoid.Sucheventsmayinclude warorthreatofwar,civilstrife,naturalornuclear disaster,industrial dispute,terroristactivity,fire, adverseweatherconditions,unforeseenlocalbuilding/roadworks,unavoidabletechnicalproblemswith transportandallsimilarcircumstances beyondourcontrol. Whilstwedonotexcludeorlimitour liabilityforlossordamagesustainedbyclientsasaresultofnegligencebyouremployeesoragents, thiscannotextendtoactions/omissions bytheproperty owneroverwhomwehavenodirectcontrol. Nevertheless,wewillofferall reasonableassistanceinthesettlementofanydisputewhichmayarise.
Complaints -whilstweendeavourtomakesurethatyouenjoyyourholiday,sometimesthingsgo wrong.Ifyouhaveaproblemorquery duringyourholiday,pleasebringittotheattentionofourlocal managementcompanyimmediately sothattheyhaveanopportunitytoputitrightatthetime.Ifno localmanagementcompanyisavailableinthatarea,pleasecontactourUKofficedirect. Ifyour complaintcannotbecompletelyresolvedlocally,youmustinformourmanagementcompanyand followthisupwithin28daysofyourreturnhomebywritingtoourUKoffice.Ifyoufailtofollow thisprocedure,wecannotacceptresponsibility foranyclaim,aswewillhavebeendeprivedofthe opportunityto investigateand rectifytheproblem.

OurCommitmenttoYou-weplanourholidayportfoliomonthsinadvanceandoccasionally propertiesarewithdrawnbyownersorothercircumstancesmakethemunavailable/unsuitablefor rental.Fortunately thisisavery rareoccurrencebutwewilladviseyou assoonaspossibleandalways endeavourtoofferanalternativeproperty ofanequalorhigherstandardifweareforcedtomake changestoyourholidayplansdueto circumstancesoutsideourcontrol.
Building workandresultingdisturbance fromsitesclosetoanyproperties featuredinourprogramme mayoccuratanytimeduringtheyear.Someresortsarecontinuingtheirdevelopment andlocalworks may betakingplaceormaybeplanned.Whereweare awareinadvancethatsuchworks arelikely to occurduringyourholidayandmayinouropinionsignificantly affectyourenjoyment,wewilladvise you.Wewillendeavourtoofferyoualternativevillaaccommodation(withyoupayingorreceivinga refundinrespectofanypricedifference)orifweareunabletoofferyousimilaraccommodation, we willrefundallmoniespaidforyourvilla/apartment(excludinganyamendmentchargesoranyancillarycostssuchasflightsorcar-hire).VillaRetreatshasnocontrol overbuildingworkand,dueto itsoftenintermittentnature,isnotalwaysawarewhenitmaycommence.Shouldbuildingwork commenceduringyourstay,weregretwecannotacceptanyresponsibility orliability,however,you shouldcontactourmanagement company inresort,whowillendeavourtofindalternative accommodation.
SwimmingPools-mostvillasenjoyprivateswimming pools.Pleasetakegreatcare bythepoolarea, especially ifundertheinfluenceofalcohol,asaccidentsmayoccur.Werecommendthatyoudonot diveintotheswimming poolorusewhileundertheinfluenceofalcohol.Childrenmustbesupervised intheswimming poolandsurroundingareasatalltimes.Poolheating, (whereavailable)mustbe requestedattimeofbooking:thiswillbesubjecttoanadditional chargepayablelocally toour managementcompany.Failureto payinresortwillresultina deductionfromyour keydeposit.
DataProtectionwewillkeep all personalinformationconcerningyouuptodate andusethistosupply servicestoyou.
