Video System – WytheCounty is looking to install a four camera video system in its Boardroom. The system will be used to record public meetings for post-production distribution online and broadcast networks.

General:

  • Video cameras will be mounted in the boardroom and be remotely controlled by the video production operator (or whatever term you like here)
  • Video production station will be located in a separate room in the CountyAdministrationBuilding, away from the boardroom.
  • Currently there are six CAT-5 cables available to connect to the video system. The pulling of the cables and preliminary set up of the site for the system will be conducted by Wythe County staff members
  • County will provide Windows Based computer for Video/Audio production. Specifications:
  • Intel Core i7 processor
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 1 TB Harddisk
  • Dual 22” widescreen monitors
  • System shall record video and audio directly to the computer or an intermediary device for later editing
  • System shall be designed to allow for future live internet streaming with minimal additions, changes, or expense.

  • With wall mount
  • Utilize CAT-5 cabling for both video and control signals
  • The camera will be located in the back of the Boardroom to capture a wide shot of the entire Board seating area and a portion of the audience

-Three Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ)SD cameras

  • Similar or comparable to Vaddio WallVIEW 100 PTZ
  • minimum ¼ CCD
  • Pan/Tilt of plus or minus 100 degrees/ 25 degrees
  • Automatic white balance and focus
  • With wall mounting bracket
  • Utilize CAT-5 cabling for both video and control signals
  • Two PTZ cameras located at least twenty-five feet from the Board seating areas on opposite sides of the room. These cameras will be used to cross shoot and capture medium to close shots
  • One PTZ camera behind the Board seating area used to capture individuals speaking to the Board. This camera will be located near the center of the room to allow for additional shots captured of individual seating to the far left and right of the Board seating area.
