The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1 Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Fees) Regulations 2013 to change the prescribed fees payable for the period commencing 1 July 2015 for—

(a) the commencement, transfer and hearing of proceedings in the Tribunal; and

(b) the issuing of warrants and witness summonses; and

(c) the inspection of the register; and

(d) the provision of ancillary services by the Tribunal.

2 Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 161 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998.

3 Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 30 June 2015.

4 Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Fees) Regulations 2013[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5 Inspection of register of proceedings

(1) In regulation 8(1)(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "1·1fee units" substitute "$12.40".

(2) In regulation 8(2)(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "5·3fee units" substitute "5·0fee units".

6 Principal registrar's certificate

In regulation 9(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "5·5fee units" substitute "5·2fee units".

7 Inspection of proceeding files

(1) In regulation 10(1)(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "9·3fee units" substitute "8·8fee units".

(2) In regulation 10(2)(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "8·6fee units" substitute "8·1fee units".

8 Fee for issue of warrant

In regulation 11(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "11·4fee units" substitute "10·6fee units".

9 Fee for issue of a witness summons

In regulation 12(c) of the Principal Regulations, for "1·7fee units" substitute "1·6fee units".

10 Amendments to Schedule 1

In Column 5 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations—

(a) for "4·8 fee units" substitute "4·4 fee units";

(b) for "13·8 fee units" substitute "12·8 fee units";

(c) for "26·0 fee units" substitute "24·0 fee units";

(d) for "33·2 fee units" substitute "30·7 fee units";

(e) for "46·0 fee units" (where twice occurring) substitute "42·3 fee units";

(f) for "86·3 fee units" substitute "79·5 fee units";

(g) for "166·7 fee units" substitute "153·4 fee units";

(h) for "173·7 fee units" substitute "180·5 fee units";

(i) for "146·4 fee units" substitute "137·0 fee units".
