2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Inferno
9th Generation Grand Prix features newly designed Ram Air Hood – 300hp
Las Vegas, Nevada. -- November 4, 2003 – PFYC (PartsForYourCar.com) took the wraps off its latest project vehicle today in Las Vegas at the 2003 SEMA Show. The 2004 Grand Prix Inferno transforms the newly redesigned Grand Prix from an already competent performance sport sedan to an aggressive yet sophisticated street machine.
The Grand Prix Inferno features a 300-horsepower Series III 3800 V-6 engine, a newly designed Ram Air Hood with louvered heat extractors, upgraded suspension components and interior enhancements.
“The Grand Prix Inferno demonstrates our commitment to the newly redesigned Grand Prix,” said Mike Lewis, co-founder and CEO of PFYC.com. “What we’ve unveiled today is the beginning of an ongoing project to develop a full compliment of performance and styling accessories for this car.”
The list of upgrades includes the much anticipated Inferno Ram Air Hood, available in both fiberglass and carbon fiber version. The engine upgrades include the newly released Pulley Boys Qwikchange™ Pulley System and the Speedbuilt™ Intake System. A Borla Cat-back Exhaust provides the flow and sound.The suspension is upgraded with Eibach Springs, Speedbuilt Strut Tower Braces with Toyo Proxes 4 Performance Tires mounted on 20” Speedster wheels by Foose Design. The interior is trimmed with two-toned Katzkin Leather Seats and Stainless Billet Dash Kit. The supporting dealer is Kirkland Pontiac.
The finishing touch is a custom paint scheme by Vale’s Kustom Kolors featuring BASF Candy Apple Red with a Pearl undercoat along with Tangerine airbrushed flamelets applied over the Fusion Orange Metallic base.
“Future products include a full body kit, two spoiler options and of course more performance upgrades” said Lewis. “As we’ve done with the previous generation Grand Prix, we’ll keep adding to our product line continuously.”
