Vertex Business Services Names Andrew Jornod as President and Chief Operating Officer

Jornod brings fifteen years of utilities industry experience to help drive Vertex’s continued growth.

RICHARDSON, Texas – April 29, 2013 – Vertex Business Services announced today that Andrew Jornod has been appointed as the company’s president and chief operating officer. Jornod will be responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy for Vertex Business Services including Oracle, SAP, Customer Management, Enlogix & eCIS, and Analytics.

Jornod is a fifteen-year veteran of the utilities services industry. Previously, he served as leader of the global energy and utilities business unit at HCL AXON, leading a team in developing uniquely innovative solutions for energy and utilities clients. As a result, HCL AXON became the fastest growing and one of the largest utilities service providers offering services around management consulting, infrastructure management, application management, systems integration with Oracle and SAP, custom application development and customer service BPO operations.

Prior to joining HCL AXON, he was a vice president within Oracle’s Utilities Global Business Unit, executing against several roles during his tenure with Oracle including product management & development and sales & marketing. In addition, he held key roles at Indus (now Ventyx), British Telecom, Control Data Systems and Microsoft.
