  1. Scholarship applicants - Please provide 2 letters of recommendations from someone other than parents.
  2. Scholarship applicants – proof of ownership must be submitted with application.
  3. Grant applicants – proof of ownership or leasing agreement must be submitted with application.

  1. Scholarship Awards
  1. The Vermont Breeders Association will award up to $1,500 in scholarships to deserving youth.
  2. Scholarships will not exceed $500 each.
  1. General Information
  1. Scholarship - Youth must be at least asenior in High School, or have completed one to two years of college to apply. Applicants must have ownership of Jersey cattle. Previous winners may also re-apply.
  2. Grant – Youth must be between the ages of 12 and 19 as of January 1st. Youth must either own or have a lease agreement in place to qualify.
  3. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to request a farm visit and/or interview with candidate.
