Autism NI is commencing a series of informal discussion groups for parents /carers of newly or recently diagnosed children / adolescents with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

The discussions will be Parent lead; however, the structure will be around the issues below. The discussion with last for 2 hours and will take place one morning each week over 3 weeks.

Outline:

The discussion sessions will include:

·  Your Autism Journey to diagnosis

·  Support for you

·  New ways of coping

·  The community and you

Numbers for this event are limited and places will be offered strictly on a first come first served basis. Tea and Coffee will be supplied

Whilst this workshop is free of charge for parents, booking is essential in order to manage planning and catering.

If oversubscribed, a waiting list will be created for future workshops.
