Purpose of the post

Under supervision, performs a variety of specialized tasks in finance and accounting functions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities of this post include:

20% / Review and check the accuracy of Liquidation document; FACE; Statement of Expenditureand relevant documents
Follow up with Sections
10% / Reclassifications of DCT; Enter in JV Register; Enter Deposit entry in VISION using f-28
Match Liquidation entries in ZHACT
10% / Review Payments vouchers and Advance:
for DCT Advance/DCT Reimbursement, PO/Non-PO, contractual payments etc. manually and in Vision accordingly. FACE Form, Amount and VAT refund etc. with supporting documents. Ensure all invoices submitted are originals.
10% / Review requests for change of funding source and other adjustments and submit it to Finance Manager/OIC for paper approval
Submit approved requests to GSSC
Scan request to GSSC and Answer Queries
10% / Participate in the HACT Assurance plan for the IPs with regard to spot checks. Visit the Zone Offices and Assist to conduct HACT training.
10% / Prepare DCT monitoring reports and follow up issues with sections
1. Monitor outstanding programme advances, i.e. DCTs and deliver timely reports at month-end and quarter-end for outstanding DCT for programme sections, CMT, ROSA and NYHQ.
2. Monitors liquidation statements, calculations, account balances and funding sources and certify NCV/JV to record liquidation.
3. Prepare and reconcile weekly Reports and Report it to Finance Manager
4. Check F149 and briefing book reports to ensure accuracy of data reported.
5. Raise service calls for DCT issues
and follow up with section for corrective actions
10% / Process and park Petty Cash expenditure for 7 Zone offices in VISION.
15% / Scanning of Documents to GSSC
5% / Do any other works assign by Finance Officer and Section Chief.

QUALIFICATION and COMPETENCIES (indicates the level of proficiency required for the job.)

Education :Completion of secondary education. Ability to operate calculator or other machines used to maintain accounts. Additional commercial training in bookkeeping, business or accounting isdesirable.

Work Experience:Six years of general accounting clerical experience.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and very good working knowledge of Bangla.
