Hours will vary depending upon role so applicants should be fully flexible in relation to hours and days worked as 24/7 cover is required in some areas.
Current basic Rates of Pay (Grade 1 training grade £7.80 per hour – Grade 5 £9.55 per hour).These rates will increase by 2.5% in October 2018.
Leave based on 31 days (six weeks plus one day) per year to include customary days i.e. 242 hours.
Shift pattern – Depending upon the role being performed, once trained and part of the rota, you may qualify for a shift premium on all actual hours worked. A premium of 15% applies to roles classed as Variable and 22% for roles classed as Continental. Night shifts, weekend and customary holiday may also be required.
Weekly overtime is payable (at time plus one half) after 39 hours.
