Activity K5d ICT / i, ii, iii and iv / How did faster vehicles develop? Pupils use secondary sources to investigate how inventions have helped people travel faster, e.g. human-powered vehicles such as bikes.
They prepare a presentation to describe one such invention. They can prepare group PowerPoint® presentations or leaflets. This could extend into a homework activity with presentations in the next lesson.
A list of websites is provided to get pupils started (or teachers may prefer to have this as a prompt for pupils who need some initial help). / 40 min / 
