Dear Western Region Croquet Enthusiast:
Please join us for the 2011 USCA Western Regional Championships on the lawns at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA. Tournament play begins Tuesday, April 5th. We are likely to begin with Doubles on Tuesday; with Singles beginning on Wednesday, April 6th. Playoffs and Finals will be on Saturday, April 9th. We have made arrangements for players to have access to the lawns for practice on Monday, April 4th.
Entry to the tournament includes Player’s Opening Dinner, midweek “Toast-n-Tally”; Participant’s Awards Courtside Lunch; Trophies, and an Official USCA Regional Pin.
Participants are encouraged to sign up with a doubles partner, if possible. While every effort will be made to pair individuals, this cannot be guaranteed. The Tournament Director will make the final decision on partner assignments.

The following are guidelines for singles flights and the Tournament Director has the option of adjusting flights depending on number of entrants. Players may request to play in a more advanced flight. Championship Flight 3.5 & below; First Flight 4-8; Second Flight 9 and higher. Flight assignment may be changed based on entries.

WAIVER AND RELEASE
The undersigned, acknowledges that he or she is participating in one or more croquet tournaments and related events being held at Mission Hills Country Club, hereinafter referred to as the “facility”, and hosted and sponsored by the United States Croquet Association, commonly known as USCA Western Regional Championship,hereinafter referred to as the “tournament”. In consideration of being allowed entry into the facility and participation in the tournament, the undersigned agrees not to make any demand or commence any suit or action against the United States Croquet Association or the facility,or any of the officers, directors, employees or members of said entities (collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) for damages or any other relief in law or equity in connection with any and all claims arising out of the undersigned’s presence at the facility and/or participation in events conducted during the tournament, whether attributable to the conduct of any of the Releasees or any other individual. The undersigned further understands and acknowledges that the sport of croquet has certain inherent risks of injury, including, but not limited to, stationary wickets set in the ground, mallets, croquet balls and boundary line string and the undersigned further agrees to assume any and all risk of injury in connection with his or her presence at the facility and/or participation in the tournament.
