Overall function of the Nuclear Sales position is to sell the Hydratight product mix to the Nuclear Utility Power Generation Industry, with emphasis on the operating nuclear plants in North America. Additionally, this position is responsible in pursuing long-term projects and customer account development in the Nuclear Power Generation Industries. Candidate will be working with end users, engineering firms & OEM’s, to promote the Hydratight product and service line and achieve specification of our products for use on the plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for generating sales in excess of $2M – 2.5M USD to the North America Nuclear Utility PowerGen market.
  • Identify and track major projects in the Nuclear PowerGen Industry and liaise with the PowerGen team members throughout the company for strategic planning and to provide details of applications and opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for Hydratight in the market for potential service partners, new products, and potential acquisitions.
  • Ability to build long term relationships with all levels of personnel from upper level management and engineers to contractors and field personnel to help establish and strengthen the Hydratight name in the marketplace.
  • Actively promote the “Leak Free” initiative that is in the process of being adopted by international power companies. This should assist with the promotion of Hydratight’s Joint Integrity Management philosophy along with the use of hydraulic bolt tensioning, field machining, leak sealing and service.
  • Act as a team player within the NA Market to assist in sales related activities, support domestic and international sales efforts as directed by the Business Manager.

Required Capabilities:

  • 10 years experience with proven track record of accomplishments in the Power Generation market selling to high-level personnel. Must have consultative selling experience.
  • College degree in a related field.
  • Travel (65% of the time) within the North America region and outside as required.
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read design drawings and problem solve technical applications
  • Must have strong presentation skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and database management software to produce regular reports on activity and project status.
