NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING: Notice requirements of R.S. 10:4-18 for an "Annual Notice" has been satisfied by the publication of the required advertisement in the Asbury Park Press and the Messenger Press on January 15, 2015 posting the notice on the Board in the Upper Freehold Township Municipal Building and filing a copy of said notice with the Municipal Clerk.

REPORTS: Committee Liaisons will each provide reports on their respective departments, monthlyreports prepared by Department Heads, listed herein, are on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk.

CORRESPONDENCE: The following correspondence has been received and is on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk. These items will be kept at the counter for review for the next week.

  • New Jersey General Assembly - Introduced Bill for Transparency Tax Act of 2015, is intended to provide clarity to local property taxpayers and to share proportionally the burden of assessment appeal refunds between all taxing authorities – copy attached
  • Plumsted Township Municipal Authority, D-2015 CP-1 – An application to approve a new 0.6 mgd WWTP and its discharge. The WWTP will consist of a membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment system with equalization, screening, ultraviolet light disinfection, and reaeration. The WWTP will discharge to the non-tidal portion of Crosswicks Creek at River Mile 128.5 – 21.3 (Delaware River – Crosswicks Creek) in New Egypt Township, Ocean County, New Jersey.
