Job Purpose: To provide administrative support for the ESRC funded ERA project and the MRC funded ERABIS project, working closely with the ERA/ERABIS research administrator.
Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities
- Updating databases and data entry
- Booking travel and accommodation arrangements for the Research Fellows employed on the ERA and ERABIS project
- Processing travel claims and participant payments/ receipts
- Ordering stock via Agresso purchasing
- Making up biological sample packs and recruitment packs
- Setting up cortisol text reminders
- Photocopying papers for questionnaire packs
- Any other duties that fall within the scope of the post as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder which could include meeting organisation and minute taking.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: / Numeracy and literacy skills.
Financial administration
Experience of data base maintenance.
Relevant NVQ2/GCSE/HNC/A-level/City and Guilds or equivalent qualification or experience.
Previous work experience within an administrative support role.
Ability to make effective use of standard office computer systems including word-processing and spreadsheets and outlook calendars / Previous experience of working as part of a research team to deliver research outcomes.
RSA II word-processing (or equivalent qualification or experience) / Interview/application
