A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin.

With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.

WHEREAS, Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin was born on November 21, 1907, a native of Hancock County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on December 7, 2000; and

WHEREAS, Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin was the loving son of the late Thomas and Susie Riley Bolin; he was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Scifres Bolin, and an infant daughter, Dorothy Faye, in 1937; and by his second wife of fifty-one years, Nancy Adkins Bolin, in 1995; two sisters, Harriet Bolin and Elizabeth Newton; and three brothers, Mitchell, Riley, and Hayes Bolin; he was the devoted father of two sons, Willie "Billy" Blake and Joseph Greene Bolin, both of Lewisport; a daughter, Karen "Tiny" Bolin of Lewisport; he was the loving brother of a sister, Margie Simpson of Owensboro; and he was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, and John Bolin, Lee Ann Leisure, Crystal Cambron, Brandi Blake, and Scotty Blake; and two great-grandchildren, Jennah Cambron and Tyler Blake; and

WHEREAS, Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin was a member of Hilldale Methodist Church and he graduated from Lewisport High School in 1928; he was a retired farmer, and being the oldest veteran of World War II, he served his country with distinction in the European Theater; and

WHEREAS, the passing of Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin has left a void that will be difficult to fill, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. This honorable body does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin, and extends to his family and friends its most heartfelt sympathy.

Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin.

Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Senator David Boswell for presentation to the family of Scott Forest "Frosty" Bolin.
