Test Sites:

·  If a constituent wants info on working with one of the FAA test sites: They can find contact info for each of the test site POCs at http://www.faa.gov/uas/legislative_programs/test_sites/contacts/.

Section 333 Exemptions:

·  If a constituent wants info on filing a Section 333 exemption (for commercial UAS use): They can visit http://www.faa.gov/uas/legislative_programs/section_333/.

·  For additional questions they can contact Mr. Robert Pappas in the FAA’s UAS Integration Office at or 202.267.8306.

Law Enforcement:

·  If a law enforcement agency in their district is interested in using UAS: They can contact Mr. David Morton in the FAA’s UAS Integration Office at or 202.267.8306.

Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COA):

·  If a constituent (other than law enforcement) wants info on obtaining a Certificate of Waiver or Authorization: They can visit http://www.faa.gov/uas/public_operations/ or email .

Experimental Certificates:

·  If a constituent wants to obtain an experimental certificate for a UAS: They can visit http://www.faa.gov/aircraft/air_cert/airworthiness_certification/sp_awcert/experiment/sac/ or call the Aircraft Certification Evaluation and Special Projects Branch at 202-267-1575 to start the airworthiness certification process.

Model Aircraft:

·  If a constituent wants info on the rules for model aircraft: They can see the FAA’s press release and interpretive rule on model aircraft at http://www.faa.gov/news/press_releases/news_story.cfm?newsId=16474.

·  The comment period on the interpretive rule is open through September 23rd; if a constituent wants to submit a comment they can do so through the docket portal at http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=FAA-2014-0396).

Center of Excellence (COE):

·  If a university in their district has questions on the FAA’s UAS Center of Excellence: They can visit the COE program website at http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ang/offices/management/coe/.

·  The Final Solicitation for the UAS COE was issued on August 12th and can be found at the above link. Proposals from interested universities are due by September 15th, however lead universities must declare their intent to submit a proposal by August 22nd.
