The University United Festival Committee is preparing to host its3rdAnnual UniversityUnited Festivalto be held next year, Saturday June 10, 2017. The festivallocation will beat UB’s South Campus,Rotary Field, off Winspear and Bailey Aves from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.This event will promote pride, unity, and commerce in the district. Many residents of the community were very pleased with our festival last year, and all the family fun and attractions! Next year we are excited for what we are planning which again promises to have something for everyone.
We are working diligently to make our very own University United Festival a success! Our plans are to bring together local and nationally known artist/bands in a family-friendly, community oriented atmosphere which will be free and open to the public.
The festivalwill kick-off at 9:00 am with a parade and will start down Bailey Ave and Kensington Aves and ending at Winspear/Bailey Aves. Our parade will showcase an array of local community organizations, block clubs and businesses.
After our parade, festivities will begin inside Rotary Field at 10:00 am where the community will experience a fun-filled family day with plenty of entertainment for everyone;great performances and fine craft vendors as well as several local restaurant booths, including some of Buffalo’s best food truck vendors
We hope you will join us as a sponsor to bring together the community in what we hope will be an annual event within the University District.
The community has expressed the excitement of attendingnextyear’s festival and we hope to far surpass last years’ attendance level. This is a great opportunity to promote yourname and business in a family-friendly environment.
