Makeup for Guy and Dolls Cast
Makeup is required for both boys and girls!
EYE LINER – Please do not buy liquid liner, it is very difficult to work.Purchase a gel liner, or a pencil that applies easily. Also the less expensive liners, or the liners that need to be sharpened can be problematic. Below is a list of some liners that would be a good choice.

MASCARA – any mascara will do, waterproof is better
FOUNDATION
This year we are asking that all students come with their base foundation already done. They should bring it with them in case we need to touch it up. For more fair skinned students please try not to use a foundation with an orange tint. Also it is ok and preferable that you go a little darker than you’re normal pigmentation if you are very fair skinned. We will have some foundation on hand if the students have a hard time with this. If you are using store makeup please apply 2 layers, if you are using theater make up one layer is fine. This is very important for time management and will allow things to move quicker. Below are some student kits that come with foundation.

to do a search online.
FALSE LASHES– Adelaide and Hot Box Girls, please purchase a set of lashes for the weekend of the performance
please purchase the glue as well.
Hair:
Missions – Male brushed clean cut no hair in face gel if needed
Missions – Female hair pulled back in a low bun, no buns on top of head.
Hot Box Girls – If you have time please pre-curl your hair
Male Gamblers – hair slicked back, clean cut no hair in face gel if needed
Female Gamblers – most of you will have wigs
TIPS:
-Before applying foundation use a light moisturizer
-have make up remover wipes on hand
-do not loan out your eye makeup
- Bring in and label your own hairbrush/comb
-Ladies have extra hair ties and bobby pins
-Let us know if you are allergic to hair spray etc.
-If you have super sensitive skin you might want consider bringing your own makeup, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc.
