Content: Classroom objects

Materials: Handout 1 and 2 (Bingo cards, bingo tags) (Attached in the document)
Procedure:
1. Give each of the students a bingo card and markers
2. Explain to them the dynamic of the game
3. Start by calling the first object and have the students repeat the name of each of the objects you call.
4. From time to time ask them what objects have you called already and which are still missing so that they would practice the new vocabulary

/ Identifying classroom objects
Function: Identifying the names of basic classroom objects
Content: Board, Bookcase, Book, Chair, Boarderaser, Color pencil, Teacher, Students, Chalk, Map
Seating arrangement: Individual

Time: 20’
Materials: Handout 3 - Classroom illustration (Attached in this document)
Procedure:
1. Have the students sit individually
2. Hand in a card to each student
3. Read out loud the different words that they need to identify in the illustration and ask them to repeat the words
4. Have them complete the game while listening and repeating the names of the classroom objects.
5. Check the exercise
Activity 3 / Labelling the class
Function: recognizing classroom objects
Content: Chalk, eraser, book, pencil, pen, wastebasket, desk, bookcase, clock, table, board, chair, door, window, wall, sharpener.

Time: 15’
Materials: Handout 4 - labels (Attached in this document) and your class objects
Procedure:
1. Have the students choose one of the labels from a box or bag
2. Each student has to find the object in the label they chose
3. Ask them to paste the label in the corresponding object and stay next to it
4. Each pair of students has to show and say the name of their classroom object they picked.
