(Underwritten by the Undergraduate Funding Office) UCT Financial Aid students, who, by virtue of successful completion of Third Term (Winter Term) course/s will qualify for the degree or will reduce the tenure of degree, are eligible to be considered for the award of a tuition and accommodation bursary. All application forms for financial aid must be accompanied by a motivation from the Student Advisor stating clearly when the student will finish requirements of the degree and how the course will make a significant difference to the student’s academic record. The Student Advisor is also required to stamp (departmental stamp) the form to certify it.

1. Only current financial aid students may apply.
2. There is an understanding that upon successful completion of the Winter Term course the student will qualify for the degree or will significantly reduce tenure of the degree.
3. No first year application will be considered.
4. Students must ensure that they know their financial aid application status before they attend the Summer Term course.
