Unity House Announces Hiring of Deputy Executive Director of Administration
Paul M. JoslynAUBURN – Unity House of Cayuga County Inc., a leading provider of transitional and permanent housing, rehabilitative, and employment services and programs in six Central New York counties to more than 700 individuals a day with developmental disabilities, mental health illnesses, and those recovering from chemical dependencies, announced today the hiring of Paul M. Joslyn as its new Deputy Director of Administration.
“I am pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Joslyn has been offered and has accepted the position of Deputy Executive Director of Administration here at Unity House,” said Executive Director Joyce Williams, in announcing Joslyn’s hiring. “Paul comes to us with an enormous amount of experience and expertise in all areas of administration – finance, human resources, property management, and marketing and development. He also has an understanding of the critical importance of corporate compliance and the absolute need to provide quality in all that we do. He looks forward to working collaboratively with the employees and stakeholders of Unity House.”
Joslyn, who will begin his duties with the agency starting April 1, 2009 from its recently relocated administrative offices at 34 Wright Avenue in Auburn, said he, too, is eager to join the agency’s administration and do all he can to maintain and enhance Unity House’s programs, services, and employees.
“I am honored and excited to be joining an excellent administrative team at Unity House,” he said. “I look forward to working with the entire Unity House staff in supporting the outstanding programs and services the organization provides to its consumers and other stakeholders.”
Joslyn comes to Unity House after serving as President of RCB Fund Services, LLC, an affiliate of Greenwich, CT-based Richard C. Breeden & Company, since its inception in 2004. Prior to that position he served as an assistant to Richard Breeden from 1997 to 2004, when Breeden was the Trustee overseeing the management of the Bennett Funding Group bankruptcy.
Joslyn also taught business at East Syracuse-Minoa High School in East Syracuse, N.Y.; served as Vice President of Servicing Operations for Equivest Capital, an affiliate of the Bennett Funding Group; was Energy Manager for the Penn Traffic Company in Syracuse; and worked as a utilities analyst and manager for Syracuse’s Pyramid Management Group and as a business analyst for Dun and Bradstreet Corporation in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Joslyn holds a BS Degree in Business Administration and Finance from SusquehannaUniversity in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, an MS Degree for Teachers from LeMoyneCollege in Syracuse, and a Master of Business Administration Degree, also from LeMoyneCollege.
