Social Studies Course of Study

Course Description

Tenth grade students continue the chronological study of the history of the United States from post-reconstruction (1877) through the 20th century with emphasis on domestic affairs. This study incorporates each of the seven state s (History, Geography, Economics, Government, People in Societies, Citizenship Rights and Responsibilities, and Social Studies Skills and Methods). Students develop a deeper understanding of their role as citizens.
