Initial Activities / The teacher will present the sound “ook”, “ape”. Students will pronounce and spell the words. / The teacher will give the instructions for the Assessment. The whole class will be doing the Oral Assessment part. / The teacher will introduce the Comparative form of adjectives concept. / The teacher will introduce the Superlative form of adjectives concept. / The teacher will review the rules of comparative and superlative adjectives. Then give the instructions to complete the quiz.
Development Activities / Students will look through magazines or groceries stores advertisements for example picture words that represent word families. Spell the word and underline the sound. / Individual word list for individual students will be given, while the rest of the class will continue working in their Family Book Word Assessment. / The teacher will write some adjectives on the board and explain the spelling rules to write the comparative from of adjectives.
