Unit A: Human Body S Support, Movement and Use of Nutrients

My name is Yvette McCall. I am a Registered Nurse who graduated from Southeastern Community College (SCC) in 1993 as a Licensed Practical Nurse, but later returned to SCC and completed my Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 2003. Since obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing was my original goal, I was able to complete this in September of 2012 from Grand Canyon University. I have worked long-term care and also the Obstetrical/Labor and Delivery units. With health care careers being so vast, the medical field is wide open to opportunities. Every discipline (nursing, physicians, nursing assistants, etc.) must work together to make quality care for patients top priority. This course is designed to help students expand their understanding of the anatomy (structures) and physiology (functions) of the human body. We will explore all systems of the body and how they work together.
