Canada and the Cold War Presentation

Assignment

In a group of three or four, research and deliver a presentation describing Canada’s role and involvement in an event during the Cold War.

Presentation Requirements

The presentation will be conducted using Padlet.

  • Description

The description must focus on Canada’s role and involvement in the event or development.

Use the information in Counterpointsas the primary source for the description of the event/development. UseWikipedia - Canada in the Cold War and the Canadian Encyclopedia - Cold War to supplement your description.

Use the outline provided to guide the gathering of information for the event/development.

  • Documents

Include written and/or visual documents(photos, maps, charts, diagrams, reports, etc.) with captions that identify the documents. The documents may be bothprimary and secondary sources. Provide documentsthat effectively represents Canada’s role and involvement in the event/development and include Canadians.

  • Video

Include a short video clip (1 minute) that describes an aspect of the event/development.

Outline/Notes

Prepare and use a point form outline/notesduring the presentation.

Participation
