I. Aims : By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to have knowledge of some activities in the wedding ceremony in Vietnam

T uses these real objects/ pictures:
a watch/ a dog/a notebook/ an envelop/ a door/glasses/an ink-pot
T divides the class into 2 teams: team A and team B , asks Ss to look at these things and then the members of each team go to the board to write their names. Each correct word will get one point. The team having more points will be the winner
T asks Ss to use the first letters of these words to make a meaningful word
T asks some questions:
+ Have you ever attended a wedding ceremony?
+ What do the bride and the groom usually do at the wedding ceremony?

Instruction: You are going to hear two people talking about a wedding ceremony in Vietnam. Listen to the tape then check if your prediction is true or false
- T plays the tape twice
- T asks Ss to work in pairs to check their prediction
- T asks Ss to exchange their answers’ with another pair
- T asks for Ss’answers and writes them down on the board
- T plays the tape the third time for the whole class to check
- T gives feedback
