  • use our resources to help us practice communicating a variety of information in Spanish, including: ABCs, 123s, time, basic conversation (greetings, names, feelings, day, date, translation questions, farewells), body parts, additional calendar vocabulary, subject pronouns (I, you, he, etc.), the verb ser (soy, eres, etc.), and adjectives

2. Open up the homework calendar. Click on slide 3 for October.
3. Observe the possible retake dates for ‘El examen de unidad preliminar’. Write down date(s) that work for you in your agenda if retaking evidence(s) would help you to both understand Spanish better and improve your grade.
4. Make sure all of your practice is complete and up to date. Ask Ms. Berndt for a list of missing assignments if you’re unsure which ones have not been completed.
5. Use this time to finish those assignments and turn them in for correction.
6. If you need to retake a lot of your exam, I suggest you use the resources that have been on this website page (scroll down) before moving on to new resources. Make sure you know your alphabet, numbers, time, the basic conversation, etc. / 

3. Start by practicing the set of cards. Make sure the audio is on, and say each word outloud before and after you flip the card.
4. After you feel comfortable with the vocabulary, try the other exercises: Learn, Test, Speller, Scatter, and Space Race. / 
-To practice identifying and pronouncing the time vocabulary /
1. Go to ‘Quizlet – Spanish 1 Interactive Flashcards’
2. Click on ‘¿Qué hora es?’
3. Start by practicing the set of cards. Make sure the audio is on, and say each word outloud before and after you flip the card. *If you’d like writing practice, get out a piece of paper and write each sentence before flipping the cards to correct.
4. After you feel comfortable with the vocabulary, try the other exercises: Learn, Test, Speller, Scatter, and Space Race. / 
-To review adjectives vocabulary, practicing how to identify, say, write, etc. each new term /

2. Review each of the cards. Practice your pronunciation using the ‘audio’ help. After reviewing the cards, use the other activities to review: Learn, Test, Speller, Scatter, and Space Race. The ‘Speller’ is especially helpful! / 
-T o review the forms of the verb ‘ser’ used to say is, am, are in Spanish /
1. Go to ‘Forms of Ser Song’ and watch the video.
*Remember, ‘ser’ and its forms are used when we are talking about more permanent things, like where we are from (our origen), our names, and our personality characteristics. / 
-To practice subject pronouns (I, you, he, she, etc.) in Spanish /

2. Click ‘Start’ and complete the online quiz to see how easily you can correctly recognize the correct subject pronoun to use to replace each subject given. / 

- To extend our vocabulary, learning additional characterisitics and feelings, and further understanding of when to use ‘ser’, ‘estar’ /

2. Read through the resource. Add adjectives and feelings to your notes in Spanish and English that you know you’d like to use often in your everyday language.
3. Challenge yourself to use each of these new words in and out of class! / 
