Charges filed against

Notorious Pirate

The notorious pirate Blackbeard has been charged with thirteen counts of bigamy and one count of spousal abuse. According to the Associate Press, his estranged wife filed charges against Edward Teach (Blackbeard) a well-known ladies man with thirteen counts of bigamy. The allegations brought forth are such that as Blackbeard frequented various seaports he would become intoxicated and marry any bar hall girl. His estranged wife also claims that during one of his drunken tyrants he asked her to dance for him, pulled his musket and continued to fire at her feet. During her pleading and crying for him to stop, he continued and would laugh at her. She also claims that during the course of their marriage he locked her in a tower that contained a sunken sea chest full of precious gems and left her for dead. Blackbeard denies any wrongdoing and could not be reached for a comment based on these allegations.
