JOB DESCRIPTION /
POST: / Account Co-Ordinator
GRADE: / SS3
RESPONSIBLE TO: / Business Development Manager

  • Working with Sales Executive and Account Manager to support them in securing new business
  • Under the direction of the Account Manager:
  • Responsible for a caseload of established accounts (approx. 75)
  • Co-ordinating a co-hort of College students on employer based training (e.g. Apprenticeships/Traineeships)
  • Co-ordinating on and off the job training and learner achievement/progression.
  • Liaising with cross college curriculum areas to ensure that students are progressing
  • Working with employers to co-ordinate the delivery of a range of full cost courses
  • Sourcing local employment opportunities to be promoted in the Employment Hub

MAIN DUTIES
  1. To support the learner interview process and place learners within appropriate companies.
  1. Working with the Account Manager to engage employers who are committed to offering quality training opportunities and ensure they fully understand and meet the employment/health and safety requirements and learner needs.
  1. To source part time job opportunities with local employers to promote in the Employment Hub.
  1. To cover the Employment Hub on a rota basis.
  1. Under the direction of the Account Manager,to support the learner induction process, including initial assessment.
  1. Under the direction of the Account Manager, to arrange the provision of additional support as and when required.
  1. To visit employer's premises to monitor and document learner progress.
  1. Working with the Account Manager, to provide the link between course leaders, learners and employers to ensure Learners receive comprehensive support in order to maximise their success.
  1. To record the outcomes of these meetings and to circulate minutes.
  1. Under the direction of the Account Manager, to be responsible for the monitoring and review of a caseload of learners across all aspects of their course.
  1. Accurately record all information during review process to ensure contract compliance.
  1. To be familiar with all of the full offer available through Business Development and promote these services with employers and potential learners e.g. attending careers events and giving presentations to interested parties as and when requested.
  1. To attend meetings to review learner progress with all relevant staff and employers. To complete all required documentation in an accurate and organised manner in order to ensure audit compliance.
  1. To participate in CPD activities as required.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  1. Attending promotional events such as exhibitions and school events to promote all aspects of the Business Services provision
GENERAL:

  1. To undertake any other such duties as may be reasonably required of you commensurate with your grade, at your initial place or work or at any of the other College sites as determined by the Principal.
