In this connection, we advise that the said letter of RBI together with the application dated July 19, 2010 of ShriN.K.Chanana under the RTI Act, 2005 has not been received by us.
On receipt of your letter under reference, we are separately advising to Central Public Information Officer, Reserve Bank of India to forward a copy of the said application dated July 19, 2010 to make available our comments / views to you.

Background :
This order disposesof the captioned application of ShriN.K.Chanana, Z-1, West PatelNagar, New Delhi - 110 008 seeking information under the RTI Act, 2005. The fact that the captioned application of the information seeker has been made, came to the notice of SIDBI for the first time, on receipt of Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Government of India (GoI) vide its letter F. No. 13/2/2010-IF-II dated April 25, 2011 (received by SIDBI on May 26, 2011) alongwith Reserve Bank of India letter dated August 11, 2010 seeking comments of SIDBI, vide which RBI letter the captioned application of the information seeker was transferred to SIDBI under section 6(3) of the RTI Act. It was observed that alongwith the said letter of RBI, application dated 19.07.2010 of ShriChanana, mentioned above, and stated to be transferred to SIDBI under section 6(3) of RTI Act was not enclosed. Therefore, a letter was written by SIDBI on May 27, 2011 to the RBI to send a copy of the captioned application of information seeker. RBI vide its letter No. 6668/10.05.007/2010-2011 dated June 08, 2011 has forwarded a copy of the captioned application of ShriN.K.Chanana which has been received by the office of CPIO on June 17, 2011.
Reply of CPIO :
On scrutinising of the application of the information seeker it is observed that the information sought does not pertain to SIDBI and relates to H.P. Financial Corporation, HimachalPradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (HPSIDC Ltd.), Punjab National Bank and RBI which are independent Public Authority. A copy of this order together with captioned application of the information seeker, is therefore, sent to the CPIO’s of H.P. Financial Corporation, HimachalPradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (HPSIDC Ltd.) And Punjab National Bank and RBI for their information and necessary action. Copy of this order is also sent to Department of
Financial Services, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Government of India (GoI) for their information.
