MEDIUM DENSITY LOW COMPRESSION SET CLOSED CELL SILICONE SPONGE

Description: Style AG1386 is a medium density low compression set closed cell silicone sponge material designed for use in gasketing applications that require a soft compressible material. Style AG1386 provides excellent UV and ozone resistant and takes a low compression set. Medium density low compression set closed cell silicone sponge offers resistance to low and high temperatures and provides users with a service temperature of -103 °F to +450 °F. This material offers users a closed cell silicone sponge material with excellent tensile strength and elongation.

Atlantic Gasket’s closed cell silicone sponge gasketing material is available in a wide range of densities from soft (AG1346-S) to

extra-firm (AG1346-XF) with varying densities and formulations available in between. Medium density low compression set closed cell silicone sponge can be converted into rolls ranging from 1/4” wide up to 36” in width. Available in both red and brown, the surface of Style AG1386 has a fine fabric finish on both sides and can be manufactured in rolls or sheets with a thicknesses range from as thin as 1/32”, to as thick as 2”. Atlantic Gasket has the ability to supply medium density low compression set closed cell silicone sponge without adhesive or choose from either our standard acrylic adhesive or our high-temperature acrylic adhesive. Atlantic Gasket has the capacity to fabricate medium density low compression set closed cell silicone sponge by die-cutting or waterjet cutting to meet your design and production requirements.
