PLACES OF INTEREST:

  1. START SN15 2JB The Social Centre/Village Hall and The Owl: Funded by the community and used by all village organizations, as well as welcoming everyone from outside the Village, The Owl run by local residents/committee.Used also as a Post Office twice a week
  2. Pavilion and Jubilee/Millennium Recreation Fields: used by 5 Youth Football Teamsfor practice and weekly matches.
  3. BMX Track and Orchard on the Millennium Field: BMX track built fouryears ago, the 60 tree orchard was planted to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, The Millennium Field was purchased for the Millennium.
  4. Small gardens allotments: Bromham leases 100acres from the Crown Estate, larger plots are let to Village Market Gardeners, with the small garden allotments available near the village center.
  5. Conservation Area/Cemeteries: The Churchyard Extensionis now a wild life and Conservation Area is used by the school and Buzy Kids and is kept tidy by volunteer parishioners. The Parish Council Cemetery accessed via New Road is maintained by our own Cemetery Caretakers.
  6. St Nicholas C of E School and Buzy Kid’s Play School & Nursery: Our future generations.
  7. The Leaze within the Village Conservation Area: Small terraced cottages and cobbled path. Leading to Jockey Lane with a new housing development.
  8. Breach Close (8 Eco Social Houses and 12 house Self Build Scheme)Completed 2010. Additional Village car park.
  9. Village Centre car park & bus shelter/notice board. The Greyhound
  10. Blind House/flag pole area: Home to the Nativity and Christmas Tree
  11. Butchers/Shops: Stiles the well-known local Butchers who also have their Abattoir in the Parish. The 2 shops have recently replaced the Rural Housing Offices.
  12. St Nicholas Church, Thomas Moore Memorial and War Memorial: Medieval wood ceiling in the Lady Chapel, beautiful kneelers. Thomas Moore the Poet who lived at Westbrook, Bromham, is buried at the rear of the Church and is our link to Avoca, Ireland.
  13. Methodist Chapel: built half way up the Church Hill.
  14. Village Shop: An asset to our village at The Chantry - an older part of the village.
