Tweet isn’t Just a Little Chirp Anymore

Listed below are five retailers that use Twitter to reach out to their customers and followers:

These retailers are staying with the game by choosing to have a Twitter account and be actively updating their followers on their business. Social media and Twitter are still relatively new to the business world, so some companies are in the dark of not knowing why they should join the social media scene and have twitter accounts. Well as a company you want to keep in as much contact with your consumers as possible and what better way than going to where they already are… on Twitter. Once on Twitter the company can chose what they want to tweet about and update their consumers and followers about. There are a number of important tweets that a company would want to inform their consumers about that include; promoting a new store opening, a special sale coming up, a new product that just came out, job openings, what charities and fundraisers they are participating in, or simply updates on their sales if they want to share that to consumers. Another important way being on Twitter will help your business is reaching your present consumers, but also having the chance of potential consumers come across your page and be interested in your company. If a company is not on Twitter, how can the consumers that haven’t heard of you find out about your company? It is an easy way to build brand awareness for both parties the company and the consumer because on Twitter it tells you who other people are following and then common followers between you. It can connect so many people and companies on one page that can create a better business for your company and happier consumers. Connecting and networking with your consumers is very important in keeping your business alive and successful. Examples of the tweets that the five companies I found on Twitter are followed:
