ChiLLy Fest ~Parade Rules
Christmas Parade of Lights
Theme –Sights & Sounds of Christmas in the City
Please arrive at Scott Park no later than 6:00 p.m. The Parade is to start at 6:30 so it can be Downtown around 7:00.
Please be careful and respectful to others coming in and out of the Park.
1. Float riders can LIGHTLY TOSS candy. Walkers are welcomed to accompany float and pass out candy. Safety of children is our primary concern. Walkers and Bands can meet and line up at the Marengo Nursing Home.
2. No wreckless driving or actions will be tolerated! (Again…Safety for all…)
3. Floats will be put in the order in which they arrive.
4. Please do not assemble floats at the Park.
5. Floats must be READY to be put in line when arriving at Park; a Float may NOT be left in line if not attached to the vehicle that will pull it in the Parade.
6. No four-or three-wheelers allowed. (This will be strictly enforced). Decorated and Lighted Golf carts WELCOMED and ENCOURAGED.
7. Horse Clubs
Clubs must:
- Have own clean up crew
-Ace horses
-Have sign with club name
8. Have FUN!!!
