Nantwich Young Farmers’ have already started the year off well, winning the best float at Cheshire Show and getting into the final at Junior Quiz, which will be held on Monday 21st September at Byley Village Hall. Please try and support if you can! We also had a great turnout at our New Member’s Evening. As well as doing well in the competitions, 9 members took to completing the three peaks challenge in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Cardiac Risk in the Young. We completed the challenge in 23 hours and 45 minutes and although the money is still being collected in, we hope to have raised over £2000 from the fundraiser. We have plenty coming up in the club, including a charity casino night by kind permission of the Holman family, and the football and netball leagues have also started, as well as Entertainments Practices. If you are interested in taking part in the Football league then please contact Josh Barrow or Michael Rees, and if you are interested in playing the netball please contact Becky Holman or Jojo Hollinshead, or let one of our top table know! Our annual charity pantomime is also taking place at the start of January so keep your eyes peeled for details, practices will be soon starting for that! This is a great way of getting to know others so is a good thing to take part in for new members! As well as acting and dancing parts, there are also jobs such as backstage and props that need doing so there are a variety of roles that can be undertaken.

Friday 18th – Night out in Nantwich, a load of Nantwich Young Farmers’ are going to Nantwich, meeting at 9pm in the Malbank.
Saturday 19th – Macclesfield YFC ‘Minion Madness’ Party at Cocksmoss Lane, SK11 9HG, 8pm til late. Entry is £5 before 9.30pm and £10 after.
Sunday 20th– Entertainments Practice by kind permission of Will Ellwood, 7.30pm prompt. If you would like a part please make sure you can make it, or if not, please let one of the top table know.
Monday 21st – Junior Quiz Final at Byley Village Hall, 7.30pm. Nantwich are in the final against Congleton. Please come along and support our team if you can!

Saturday 26th – Charity Casino Night at Walnut Croft, Poole, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6AL, 8pm till late. Over 18’s only. Tickets are £15 which includes an arrival drink, casino chips to get you started, a bar and a disco. All proceeds go to Nantwich Young Farmers’ and St. Luke’s Hospice. Dress Code: Black Tie

Saturday 3rd – Malpas Halloween Party by kind permission of the Ravenscroft family, address tbc. £10 a ticket. Over 16s must be accompanied by a YFC member. Fancy dress is compulsory, 8.30pm – 1am.

Wednesday 9th – Final of the Entertainments Competition at Winsford lifestyle Centre. Here the three winners of each heat and the highest runner up will battle it out to become winner of the Entertainments Competition 2016. It is promised to be a good night with some great Entertainment so don’t miss out! 7.15 prompt.
