Dear Student
Welcome to your Induction Programme for entry into the Sixth Form for September 2015. The Programme comprises of three parts:
- You will be welcomed into the Sixth Form at your home site, where you will learn about your school’s expectations and the opportunities available to you.
You will be collected from your home site at 11.15am and taken to the University of Hertfordshire Auditorium, where you will be introduced to the Post-16 Consortium and receive a presentation from Dr Alison Mowbray , Olympic Medalist, PhD in Molecular Microbiology, Leadership Development Consultant Coach, Nutritionist, Author and Inspirational Speaker.
Transport will take you back to schools after the event.
You will attend a lesson in each of the subjects you are time-tabled for next September. The lessons you must attend are as follows:

Please note that all schools run on a slightly different timetable. Please make your way to the teaching site’s 6th form common room where the HO6th will inform you about when and where to go for your taster lessons.
Transport will be in place to take you between sites at lunchtime; you will receive information about this from your Head of Sixth. You make your own way to and from lessons in the morning and in the afternoon. Please arrive to all activities appropriately dressed in accordance with your dress code. You also need to be equipped for induction lessons so ensure you have appropriate stationery and a folder for your Induction Assignments.
