3.4TESTING

1.Verifythatthecontactleadsandopticalfibersareproperlyconnected.
2.Makesurethatpowerisappliedtoallfiber
opticmodules,controllers,andreceiverdriversorotherequipmentusedinthesystem.
3.Successfulcontactmappingoperationshouldbeconfirmedatthispointbyusing
theswitchestotogglethecontactsopenand
closed.
3.5CLEANING
A.Followallinstructionsforproperuseofsolventsandadhesivesusedforterminationandsplicing.
B.Atcompletionoftheinstallation,disposeofallfiberscrapsproperly.
