Training Sessions

Tuesdays

Speed Training Starting from the Sloop pub car park opposite the Poole civic centre at 18:30.

This is our main Tuesday running session and is perfect if you're looking to add some extra intensity to your training and improve your running and race times.

Beginners, if you are just a little shy or you are not sure if you can run then you can also join us from the Sloop car park at 18:30 for an easy / fun run based on the Coach to 5K programme.

Sandbanks Club Run Running from the Sandbanks Hotel in Poole at 7pm for a 7.10pm start.

This is a relaxed running group with routes between 5 and 6 miles, or turn up early for a run round the headland for an extra 2.5 miles!. The main part of the run has 2-3 groups and a wide range of paces, ideal for those just starting out.

Thursdays

The main LMS club run, starting at Latchet Minster School Sports Centre at 7pm for a 7.15pm start. Post Green Rd, Poole, Latchet Minster, Dorset BH16 6JD.

There are several groups running, all of different abilities and paces, with runs usually between 6 and 10 miles, mainly off road in the summer months and more road work during the winter months. Showers are available and after the run we meet in the Clay Pipe in Sandford for a drink and chat.

Saturdays

Beginners or runners of all standards if you just want an easy fun run you are welcome to join us at Upton House main car park at 09:30

There are also weekly runs starting from Corfe Castle, Bere Regis, Upton House or Wareham Forest on a Saturday morning - speak to Dave Rabjohns on a Tuesday at Sandbanks for more details, alternatively keep a look out on Facebook for updates.

Sundays

There is usually a long run organised on Sundays, which usually works in conjunctions with Spring or Autumn Marathon training. If you would like to join us please check the LMS Facebook group or call / text Mike Fleck on 07846 388954 or e-mail .

If you have a specific goal or target distance that you would like help achieving, then please talk to the clubs Lead Coach Mike Fleck, whom will be more than happy to help with one to one advice or a training programme.
