Salusbury WORLD is a small charity based in Brent in north-west London. Established in 1999, it seeks to support refugees in realising their ambitions and becoming active members of their communities.

We are a dynamic organisation that prides itself in our warmth, energy, creativity & determination.

Purpose of the Post: to ensure that refugees of all ages and other migrant groups can easily access high quality advice in a supportive setting.

The family advice worker will work alongside family support workers in our three school-based settings: Salusbury Primary School, Capital City Academy and Queens Park Community School.

They will give face to face advice by appointment and manage their own caseload. They will also work with staff and volunteers to develop new initiatives & links with other organisations.

This is currently a part-time role (4 days) for one year from the date of appointment. However, further funding is being sought to extend and expand the advice project.
