Irish Securities for Inclusion onto SETSmm
Go Live - 20 December 2004
Following on from Service Announcement - Live 77/04, and after consultation withmarket participantsand the issuers, the Exchangehas agreed that some of the Irish securities being added to SETSmm from 20 December 2004, will continue to be traded in Sterling, rather than Euros as previously announced.
Details of the currencyin whichthe relevantsecurities will be trading inhave been attached in Appendix A for your reference.
Closing Prices
For Paddy Power, Irish Continental Group and both lines of Waterford Wedgewood migrating onto SETSmmand trading inEuros (EUR), the GBX closing price onFriday 17 December will be converted into EUR, using the Bank of England EUR/GBP closing exchange rate.The converted closing price will be re-disseminated once these securities have been added to SETSmm.
For the remaining 12 Irish securities the traded currency will continue to beSterling (GBX). The closing prices for these securities will also be re-disseminated in Sterling followingthem being added to SETSmm.
Customer Development Service (CDS)
The CDS environment was updated on Tuesday 14 December 2004 to reflect the revised trading platform.
Administration
Customers will receive a series of 5OB (Tradable Instrument/Currency/Market Segment) messages for each addition and deletion on Friday 17 December 2004.
Customers are advised to take either the Reference Data Changes service Broadcast Data Group B13 on Friday 17 December or to take the Full Reference Data Download Broadcast Data Group B12 on Monday 20 December 2004.
Customers will also receive5SK'Closing Price' messages following the re-dissemination of closing priceson B29 'UK Closing Prices' and B68 'SETSmm Level 1' prices.
