3S-GTE Turbo Dump Pipe: 3”

Will Fit 3S-GTE motor conversions in 2wd Celica’s and MR2

Turbo Dump Pipe in 3” (76mm) with a 3” (76mm) flanged outlet; with an insert adapter to 2 ½” to suit the factory connecting pipe. The Dump Pipe clears, oils filter, dipstick (d/stick tube will need to slightly bend to clear, do this before you fit the new Dump Pipe), air conditioning compressor and factory air conditioning lines, on some variety of air-conditioning compressors this pipe seats closer than others. This dump pipe eliminates the factory catalytic converter. The pipe also allows the air cooler duct for the alternator to be refitted. The factory waste gate has a free flowing exhaust flow into the down pipe.

You will need to remove the studs from the turbo to remove the original down pipe and this also makes it easier to fit the new dump pipes, use the 10mm bolt supplies, in four stud holes for refitment. Also remove oil filter for easier access.

When fitting Dump Pipe, secure with all nuts or bolts onto the turbo, take the nuts up, but do not tighten them at this point in time. Now you need to line up the bolts at the bottom with the Connecting pipe and place the new bolt through the holes. Now is the time to fit the Dump Pipe Support Bracket, this connects through the top two bolt of the bottom flange of the Dump Pipe and attaches to the block at the point of the oil return line bracket, Undo this bolt and lift bracket or slightly and slide the Dump Pipe Bracket under and refit bolt. Now if needed you can adjust the Dump Pipe slightly to help to line up square with the Connecting pipe. Once this is all square, tighten the Dump Pipe up at the turbo and then tighten the bolts at your connecting pipe, and also the dump Pipe Bracket to block.

The 3” dump pipe does fit directly onto the factory connecting pipe: (this pipe has only a 2 1.2” inlet). This GT4 Dump Pipe has a 3” flanged outlet with an adapter to fit the standard connecting pipe of 2 ½”. When fitting adaptor use. “Loctite 587, Flange Sealant, Blue Maxx Silicone” This dump pipe eliminates the factory catalytic converter.

Pipe has a fitting for the factory O2 sensor, flat plate with 2 bolts, no need to modify wiring, but you may have to reroute it. The Pipes also have a second O2 fitting and also and EGT fitting (for MR2). When these outlets are not being used, it is suggested that the threads of the bungs be coated in some sort of “never seize” type compound.
