This meeting is to be taped for broadcast on the Access Channel and everyone is required to comply with the policies and procedures governing access programming for the Access Channel. No mention of political affiliation or political advertising shall take place at this meeting or it will be deleted from any rebroadcast of the meeting.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER II ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION” BY ADDING SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO THE TOWNSHIP’S POLICE DEPARMENT

Explanation: This Ordinance amends Chapter II of the Township Code entitled, “Administration” by (i) adding Special Law Enforcement Officers to the composition of the Township’s Police Department, and (ii) establishing criteria for such Officers.

ORDINANCE NO. 11-05 (by title for introduction)

BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING AN APPROPRIATION OF $460,000 FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO OLD STIRLING ROAD FOR AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF WARREN IN THE COUNTY OF SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY AND, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $435,000 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP FOR FINANCING PART OF THE APPROPRIATION.

Explanation: This ordinance authorizes an appropriation of $460,000 for improvements to Old Stirling Road.

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE DUBOIS ROAD REDEVELOPMENT PLAN

Explanation: This Ordinance adopts the Dubois Road Redevelopment Plan pursuant to the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq.

ORDINANCE NO. 11-07 (by title for introduction)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $360,000 FOR REPAIR, UPGRADE AND NEW CONSTRUCTION OF THE BARNS LOCATED AT WAGNER FARM

Explanation: This Ordinance authorizes an appropriation of $360,000 for Wagner Farm Barn damage reconstruction/repairs.

INTRODUCTION OF 2011 MUNICIPAL BUDGET

RESOLUTION NO. 2011-89

Be It Resolved, that the statements of revenues and appropriations shall constitute the Municipal Budget for the year 2011;

Further Resolved, that the total general appropriations are

$16,132,267.64

Further Resolved, that the amount to be raised by taxes, for support of the Municipal Budget is $10,887,920.03

Further Resolved, that said budget will be published in the Courier News, in the issue of May 9, 2011; and

Further Resolved, that a public hearing on the 2011 Municipal Budget will be held on May 26, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Complex.
