Town of Hollis Select Board Meeting Minutes

Select Board Members: David McCubrey, River Payne; Town Clerk: Martha Huff.

Election Day is on June 14, 2016. Polls will be held at the Hollis FD, 405 Plains Road, from 7:00AM to 8:00PM. Elections include Maine Primaries for registered Republicans and Democrats, MSAD 6 Budget Validation, Town of Hollis Candidates –all uncontested, and Warrant for Annual Town Meeting.

Absentee Ballots available until next Thursday, June 9th by telephone call to Town Clerk or in person at town hall.

There will be 3 Ballots Machines at the polls this year to help residents avoid long lines. We encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote!

**The Town of Hollis needs Republican Ballot Clerks! If you are a registered Republican and can help on Election Day, please contact Martha Huff at town hall ASAP! Thank you in advance for your help!**

  2. “HOOKED” A movie created by Maine youth to raise awareness about opiate misuse will be held at Biddeford High School Little Theater on June 9, 2016 at 6:30PM. Co-presented with the Tri-City Coalition and Young People In Recovery.

River recognized that this meeting was Dave’s last televised Select Board meeting. River thanked Dave on her and Roger’s behalf for all of his years of service to the town and his contributions. We will miss his presence on the Select Board and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
