Town of Forest

The regular meeting of the Town of Forest was called to order at 6:24PM by Chairman, Wayne Longacre. In attendance were: Wayne Longacre, Jimmy Carley, Danny White, Patience Duhnke, John Matthes, John Baker and Matt Otto. Henry Stanek arrived at 6:32
John Matthes affirmed that the meeting notice was properly posted on the website and at the Town Hall
The minutes of the October 10th meeting were approved Motion Jim Carley 2nd Wayne Longacre
Treasurer’s report was presented by Patience Duhnke
Patrolman’s report Mixing salt with sand and screenings. Wing has arrived and is on truck
Public comment: John Matthes stated that he would be unable to make the Feb and March meetings if they were held on the normal dates and ask if they could be moved to Feb 12, 2018 (one day early) and March 20th 2018 (one week late) General consensus was that it could be done with new meeting dates to be approve at meeting prior to those meetings. Patience Duhnke stated that she would be unable to make the Dec meeting but would have information available for board.

New Business:
Viola Fire Dept. in regards to covering part of Bloom Township nothing to happen at this time
Matt Otto request for zoning waver. Moved by Wayne seconded by Jim to approve a zoning waver to allow Matt Otto to build on his 22 acre parcel on Goose Creek Road without it needing to be rezoned from Ag Forest. Motion carried. Subject of driveway permit was raised by Matt Otto. He was informed that the Town of Forest has no driveway ordinance and therefore there was no need for a driveway permit.
Motion to approve the proposed 2018 budget as presented by Dan 2nd by Wayne all voted in favor
Motion to approve the 2018 tax levy at $102,722.00 by Wayne 2nd by Jim all voted in favor
Monthly bills were presented Motion by Jim 2nd by Dan to approve carried
Next meeting set for Dec 12th
Dan moved to close the meeting with Wayne seconding motion carried
