July 27, 2015 – 70th Anniversary Advisory Committee, Town Hall – 10 a.m.

1. Call Meeting to Order:
Meeting called to order by Larrie at 10 a.m.

6. Review of Previous Actions:
06.16.02: Larrie to check into availability of youth volunteers for Deep River Days.

06.09.01 Councillor Aikens to contact Ric McGee to request that the budget allocation for the Accessibility Advisory Committee for 2015 be turned over to the 70th Anniversary Committee.

7. Review of Recent Activities.
a) Surf Lounge Revival, July 31st. All details in hand.
b) Promotion/Publicity update – Joyce. All details in hand
c) Request to CNL letter received. CNL will sponsor Kidzone and stickers
d) Accessibility Committee Budget. Megan to talk to Ric McGee
8. Deep River Days Logistics - Aug 1st
Grounds Setup – Decided on location of each activity.
Site Map – Prepared, made copies for participants.
Tents – 6 large from Summerfest to be delivered Saturday morning. Rotary volunteers contacted to erect, take down.
Tables/chairs – 16/12 from Town to be delivered by staff.
Signage – Decided on content, production, how many, posting around site.
Cake – Confirmed size, 70th logos, time=11:30am, delivery, cutting with 4 volunteers, utensils, gloves, water.
Air Bounce activities – Estimated number of volunteers needed.
Garbage cans – Estimated 6 large cans from Town around suitable locations.
Recycling bins – Number, location to be decided by Jon Kiteley and EAC.
Electricity – Not needed now.
Rain Date – Advertised in NRT, online. To be post around site, at arena if required.
Other - Megaphone and first-aid kit to be provided by Jade Nauman.
