As of Monday, January 5th, 2009

The Town of Chebeague Island will start issuing parking tickets on vehicles left over twenty-four (24) hours on the Stone Pier and on Wharf Road.

(This includes all of the upper (dirt) parking areas of the Stone Pier)

Ticket fees are as follows:

·  $20 Parking in a no parking area

·  $20 Overtime parking (more than 24 hours)

·  $50 Parking in a Handicapped parking space

·  $20 Parking in a loading zone.

Also, please remember that during a snow emergency (Maine State Statute Title 29A§2069) that “no” vehicle(s) shall be parked on Wharf Road during snow removal.
